Private Equity

Although we do not follow a rigid formula, My Decker Capital’s private equity transactions share several common elements. MDC invests its own equity dollars and those of our investors for the investments in a company. Once we make an investment, we work with company management over the long term to ensure focus — helping the company to be more productive, more competitive, and more profitable and to achieve a successful return on the investment through IPO or trade sale.

MDC work closely with the management teams of our portfolio companies and maintain close involvement in the operations of each business, providing them with substantial guidance over an average investment period of three to five years or more. MDC seeks to invest in high quality companies that have built a strong operating history, have attractive growth prospects, solid market positions and the ability to generate superior returns on the capital MDC invests.

General characteristics of MDC’s private equity investments include:
